Garage Conversion (Phase One)

On this project we were tasked with converting unused garage space into a multipurpose space. Phase one consisted of removing the garage door and installing a french door/ fixed door combination in the rough opening. We also installed a 36” exterior door that gives access from the garage to the side yard. In addition to installing the doors, we installed a couple of 2’x2’ casement windows in the attic/ bonus space above the garage which will be finished out in phase two to become office space. After laying quarry tile over the old garage slab, we installed interior trim and got everything paint ready for the homeowners to put the final finishing touches on. After laying quarry tile in the garage, the homeowner liked it so much they asked us to put it down in their sunroom (also pictured below). Stay tuned for phase 2 updates.
