Exterior Renovation
After an extensive exterior facelift this double wide transformed into a home unrecognizable to how it appeared when we first got started. Many trades passed through and had a hand in this transformation, and we were tasked with the bulk of the work. We started with tearing down the two decks at the front and back of the house and rebuilt them from the ground up, with an addition of a third deck on the side of the house. We used composite decking to finish the deck surface and top rail, and utilized black hogwire paneling for the hand/ guard rails. Once the decks were finished we stripped back the old vinyl siding and replaced every window with low-e double hung vinyl windows. The two single exterior doors were replaced with nine light shaker style doors, and the double patio door was replaced as well. After windows and doors and their associated flashing components were installed, we moved onto exterior trim (casings, soffit/ fascia, corner boards and freeze boards) and siding installation. For this project we used pre-finished LP SmartSide board and batten and trim boards.
