Deck Rebuild - West Asheville
For this deck project we tore down the existing 12’x10’ deck and rebuilt to a 20’x16’ footprint. The decking used on this project was Trex “toasted sand”. We utilized a picture framed decking border around the main deck and picture framed the stair treads to hide any cut ends or exposed grooves on the composite decking. The railing we used was Cable Bullets “wood post tensioning kit”, and we capped it with a 2×6 pressure treated top rail for a blended combination of composite material and wood stained accents (not currently pictured). The homeowners will be staining the outside/ exposed framing members, handrail posts, and top rail once the pressure treated wood has fully cured and is ready to accept stain.
