Chicken Coop Build

On this project we were asked to build a custom chicken coop. We used primed LP smartside panel siding and trim boards to side the exterior and make a custom door, and built out five nesting boxes that can be accessed from an exterior hatch. We installed a couple double hung vinyl windows for light and added ventilation, and also installed an automatic chicken door on a timer. The inside features 2x4 perches set at different heights all around the interior for the chickens to rest on. These pictures depict an unfinished product, as final paint has yet to be applied.
